I made this painting for Cameron Prince. A story of love, jonquils and a shooting star.
The Scarlett Honey Eater is one of the smallest Australian Honey eaters. The first time I saw it was in our garden amongst the gravilias. A magnificent flash of bright red caught my eye.
It is migratory, moving North on the cooler months. Perhaps this explains why it seems to be there one minute and gone the next. You always feel incredibly lucky to spot this beauty.
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
